Wednesday, 1 May 2024 10.30am-3pm AEST, Free virtual interactive meeting. The Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology and the Renal Society of Australasia were proud to present the Quality Care Workshop in 2024.

Our first workshop for 2024 featured interactive presentations and panel discussions on the priority quality improvement topic of infection in dialysis. This included the role of quality improvement and data collection in reducing infections in both haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. We highlighted quality improvement projects in both nephrology and other specialties with the aim of enabling units to implement their own projects to reduce dialysis related infections.

We encouraged involvement of all members of the kidney community including nephrologists and advanced trainees, allied health staff, nephrology nurses and dialysis staff, consumers and anyone interested in quality improvement.
